Ok folks, once I start my build, I plan on converting my Dana 300 to a Twin-Stick. I like the idea of having a 2low option and quite frankly, I like the whole nostalgic look of it.

Here's a link to the kit:
Dana 300 Twin Stick Shifter - Novak Conversions

It looks pretty straight forward. Have any of you, more experienced, Jeepers done this conversion? Thoughts?

From everything I can see they are the very same kit, JB manufactures them in his own shop. Probably his own garage. When I bought mine I noticed that he didn't answer E-mails until later at night making me believe he has a day job. It was a pleasure dealing with him. Also the last time I looked his prices were lower than NOVAK could sell them for. JB Fabrication has a VERY strong following here.

I'm probably going to go with JB. Thanks!

Mine is a JB custom twin stick, I absolutely love it :chug: :chug: I found it to be the best out there IMHO

How's it fit once installed? Looks good.

How do I get one of those? Can I get one from one of the big box suppliers or do I have to go straight to JB?

They work great :chug: I put a JB conversions rotation plate (different company also freaking awesome parts http://www.jbconversions.com) on mine to rotate the Transfer Case pretty flat so I took my floor jack handle and bent them up a little to re clear my NV 3550 Transmission shifter. Here is a pic it is a little hard to see because they are wrapped in electrical tape PM me if you want a larger file :chug:

LOL, I just re looked at Novak's shifter, (its been awhile) their's is very similar to JB's shifter, same boot and stainless trim, same attachment to shifter ear and to shift rails. I did notice that they use a smaller diameter bolt with a bushing thru the shifter attachment ear on Transfer Case where as JB sends you a big ole honking grade 5 bolt and nylock nut :chug: and his is $50 cheaper :D

I love my JB twin stick!

Posi, hows the linkage on those d18 sticks? they look sweet. :D
Thanks, I wanted sticks that were easy to reach without bending forward and the original black old school look as well, both sticks shift smoothly.
