My speedometer works, gauges work, but the light bulbs are dim or out,can someone help me out?..thanks

For starters check the voltage at the battery while it is running, you should get around 14.5 volts.

On your headlight switch if you turn it from right to left it should make your dash lights brigther or dimmer, I would try that first if you haven't yet.

If turning headlight switch doesn't fix or does nothing, then it could be that switch. Or a bad ground. Or the bulbs are burnt. Or they are dying. Or they are dirty. Or the bulb contacts are corroded. Or all the above. :D

So I have a question about the dash lights, So like an dumbie:bang: I hooked up some fog lights to an orange wire coming off the fuse block. Turned them on and they flashed. Now I don't have any dash lights. They all work before. So I thought it was just a fuse. Looked at the block but it doesn't have a fuse. Anyone have a diagram of how the gauge lights are wired? or where to check for the fuse

Forget my question, the beer an lack of fireworks :what:
got to me. It was just a fuse

okay Im interested in the dim dash lights also,
Ive noticed some of my gauges have had the lights replaced at one time or another b/c the color of green they are, is not exactly the same and some are closer to a white and one is a more green color.

Anyways I had a hard time finding bulbs for the guages but it was either 4wd.com or quadratrec or morris 4x4, cant remember, I havent installed them yet ill go check the box and post where I found the bulbs,
I wanted mine brighter and to all match,

So other places just had the gauges for sale and did not sale the bulbs for them,
So has anyone on here installed the lights in the dash lights
I am going to try and do them all at once, but didnt know the easiest way to do it
Ive been told several different ways, so I was hoping someone on here had a good way to do it.
