Did I buy the wrong MC2150?

I got a little excited on ebay. I found an MC2150 with 1.08 Venturis. I pulled the trigger on it for a grand total of 50 bucks. I spent another 20 bucks and replaced a few broken parts.
I started to wonder if I had made a mistake. The carb came off of (I think) a mid 80's ford truck. It has an electronic throttle positioning sensor and IAC. Can this carb still be used with my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l ? I was going to buy a set of #47 jets this afternoon when I asked myself this question.
My Jeep has been a piece of yard art for the past few years; I feel bad about it and would like to get it back into fighting shape.
A few years ago I bought a 2100 from a carb guy on ebay. I was ignorant, at the time, and bought a 2100 with 1.21 venturis. As it turns out, It had two different sized jets. I could never get the thing to run right... poor idle, poor power response, power surging. It was just a bad deal.
Please set a guy on the right path.
