Diff Covers

I have a Dana 30 front and AMC20 rear. I am looking for diff covers that include drain plugs, especially for the rear. I am leaning toward the ARB diff cover for the front but am having trouble finding something that does what I want for the rear. Does anybody have a recommendation for an AMC20 diff cover that has a drain plug in it?

Much less expensive to buy a solid cover then drill and tap using a 1/2" flush type pipe plug.

Wish I had seen these when I was rebuilding my 20. I went with a Kentrol SS cover but it doesn't have a drain plug. It is a b$$$h to get them to seal and when you do, you never want to take it off again.
I like the idea of installing a drain plug. I may do that if I ever take the cover off again.

If you do go with a drain plug with intention of leaving the cover on for fluid changes I would recommend Permatex Right Stuff. It will seal 100% however, the cover will be a bit harder to remove if/when that time comes.

In the rear-IF you have the OEM 20 gal fuel tank.
Make sure the cover will clear the tank.
Alum cover on any axle ain't a good idea, if you play in the rocks.

I have the lube locker gasket in my D 30. Have had it apart a number of times and it still seals.

i went with a teraflex cover for the front and an alloy usa for the rear. both have drain plugs and are made from heavy iron.

I decided to go with the Dana cover from Rockauto for the front. I am still looking for the rear.
