Has anyone tried these? i have read some hype to better fuel economy and improved power or is it just that (Hype). They dont appear to have an adjustable gap Also any tips on tuning mixture by checking plugs for too rich or lean?

I've used these in two veichles a 86 toyota pickup with the 22r. I didn't see any improvement in power or gas mileage but the 22r is a little 4 banger. I've also used these in my 86 jeep AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and again didn't find any improvement in gas mileage or power. These are both stock engines so maybe in a newer or rebuilt engine or up graded ignition system they would help but in my opinion there not worth the extra money.

A tip! Since the normal site search does not index words less then three characters, use the Advanced Google Site Search instead. I just searched or 'e3 spark plug' and these threads were at the top of the list.

I have been using these plugs for about a year now, in my 401. I don't know that I gained any milage gain, I get about 10 mpg any way. I did notice the plugs are cleaner when inspected.

I've used em in several different vehicles. That's all I buy now. The biggest thing that sold me on em was when I put em in my 4.3l v6 s10, they got me 3-5 mpg and finally took away the little miss I had at idle, I put 3 different sets in it and these where the ones that stayed in. Been buying them ever since.
