My 81 CJ7 has been sitting for over a year and I finally took it out! I almost forgot what the adrenaline rush felt like.

Over a year? Man, I start getting the shakes if I go a week without some seat time in my old girl.

Congradulations! That looks like some decent flex out of those springs. What lift do you have?

Mine's been sitting in the drive in pieces for 68 days, 2 hours, and 37 seconds...38...39...40 :D

I haven't driven a Jeep for about 10 years...since I sold my CJ5 's before I came south to CA. Well not, counting the up the block after setting the timing (can't go farther until the suspension is done).

I just bought the 84 CJ7 and have been wrenching like mad to get it going. I have to say it was the best feeling to start that new motor up and consider all the offroading I'm going to be doing!

I'm just down to the last few small things, but they keep turning into "cut and wait for mail" experiences. This thing should have been on the road weeks ago!!!

Glad to hear others are getting the ready to go for the spring/summer :chug:

Yeah I missed driving it! Getting behind the wheel again made me realize why I never got rid of it haha. Thanks! I have 3in springs with an SOA, as far as manufacture where they are from I can't recall cause I picked em up from a buddy a few years ago but they do the job.
