found two wires...

Need help identifying these two wires (see pictures)

Replaced starter solenoid (the other one was not the orginal)

Found them not connecting to anything when I went to replace solenoid.

Any one know?

Can't tell you off hand but they may just be part of the harness for options you don't have. But I'd clean the wire to show any color or tracer, then check a wiring diagram in a repair manual.

I believe the black one is for a neutral safety switch for the auto Transmission version of the CJ.

Black is for the NSS the other one I don't know. I have the same one on my project.
