Engine Freezing engine

I pulled the engine and put it on a stand. This will be the first winter that its not in the jeep. What can i do to keep the block from freezing up? The engine is complete and ran before i pulled it out.

absolutely nothing. your engine is fine on a stand and will not freeze you have nothing to worry about

Shouild i make sure there isnt any water inside or add some coolant , ?

As long as it is mostly drained and not full of water you are good to go. You can rotate the engine to drain more if you wish.

Empty block is fine.

What they said. It’s no more likely to freeze while out of the Jeep than it is in the Jeep.
