Front Axle Swap what fits what????

I have a 1975 CJ5 with stock front drum brakes and 3:73 gear. I would like to upgrade to disk brakes. I have located a nice clean 1977 complete front axle also with a 3:73 gear for $75 . I know the frames are different 75 to 76. Will the 77 axle bolt up okay?

Spring pad measurement should be identical from 72-81 narrow track axles. Also Jeep continued to use the narrow tracks in the CJ5 production until ending with the 1983 model year.

That is good to hear. I took a bunch of pictures and measurements of the one I have in the 75. I'm going to get the 77 axle on Wednesday.
