How far from Lyons to the trail? It will take me about 2.5 hours to get to Lyons from Ft. Carson.

I'm in for the 30 . I have never been on the plane crash trail. Did Coney Flats a few weeks ago (the river crossing is cool ) but I'm guessing the water level will be even lower. Haven't taken the jeep on a lot of the others either so I up for any of them.

I'm sorry I must have missed this. If you go up thru Camp @$%# LOL at the end there is a trail I do not know what it is called.

That would be middle saint vrain trail, which leads to coney creek trail. It makes a nice loop.

Well powdertwoplanker said he just did that trail and has never done the plane crash one so I say lets meet at the gas station next to Ace Hardware at 9:00 go up the plane crash trail do lunch at the top and when we get back down if there is time we can go up there. Does this work for everybody?

No it's in Lyons. It is just as you come into town on HWY66 it will be on your left you can't miss it.
