I will probably be heading up on Sat so I wont have as much driving to do on Sun. I will be in Boulder so if we need to we could probably get an earlier start.

Or I could meet you in Boulder and we could do Breakfast before driving to Lyons.

Sounds good. I will call you when I get up there.

Sorry guys I just found out that I won't be able to make this. My mom is making some what of a surprise visit. Would bring her along, but unfortunately it's not her thing.

Have a great time, be safe and hopefully I can join on the next one

I'm really sorry you can't come maybe we can do something next month before the snow starts to fly and the close everything down for the winter. Let me know what works for you. :)

I would be up to do it again also when you are free.

So powdertwoplanker isn't coming and I have done the plane crash trail twice and tin medic hasn't done any of the trails up here what do you guys from Loveland think we should do the Saint Vrain and Coney Trails? I have never been on them. Are they as fun as the Plane crash trail? I'm going to be driving the beater of the group but have been 4wheeling for many years and have never had lockers so I know what I'm doing and I have a Winch. What would you guys like to do? I guess what I'm asking is what trail do you guys think is the most fun? I'm up for anything and would like to get with the two that can't come this time next month and do another trail. :)

I have run all those trails. My favorite is Middle Saint Vrain and Coney creek. It's fun driving through the water crossings, and mud holes ( if any are left since it's been so dry). The trail has just a couple of tough spots, but you'll make it ok. It takes about 4-5 hours to run. My signature is crossing Coney Creek in July. And going some place next month would be fun to do with everyone.

The plane crash trail is more challenging than MSV and Coney. If doing only MSV and Coney, the more challenging way is doing MSV first.
No worries about being able to make it. My dad did all these trails in his 80' with 31's, 3.08 gears and open diffs.

Well then maybe we should do that this time and do the plane crash next month. Hey csuengr would your dad like to go with us? I say the more the merrier.

Hey Guys, I know I can't make it, but thought I give you my 2 cents. I was able to get out an do the plane crash trail last week. To me all three (MSV, CF, and Air) of them weren't that difficult. Each had a few spots that made me place the jeep smart. Remember I only have 31's an open diff's

I would say that MSV an CF are the most fun. If we get some rain this week, man they will be real fun.

Again wish I could join but I hope to make the next one. Maybe Miller rock?

Cheers

What will work for you next month? I haven't heard of Miller Rock have you done it? And where is it? I would be up for it I like doing new trails.

Miller Rock is at Raymond, just before you get the the intersection of Hwys 7 and 72. Not to far from Peacefully Valley were we're going.

How long of a trail is it? Unless it's real short I think we should do it next month what do you think?

It's a pretty short trail, has some side roads to explore. One goes to an old saw mill site. I have not been on that side road yet. You could make it last a few hours. Climb up Miller Rock. That would be good for another days outing.

So I'm thinking with all the rain we have had this week the Saint vrain and Coney creek trails are going to be a blast on Sunday I can't wait. Just three more days :D

Staying in a hotel in Longmont instead. Was planning to stay at a friends house but they won't be around. My oldest son is going to come to, he loves the jeep world.

I'm bringing my youngest son. I will still meet you for breakfest if you want to.

Where would be the best place to meet for breakfast?
