Hi everyone,
My gas gauge also doesn't work. What is the process for dropping my tank? ( Whoo hoo new project!) The guy I bought my jeep from said he put in the wrong gauge for the tank when he relocated the tank into the back. Could it just be the gauge isn't adjusted correctly? If it is the wrong gauge, how can I tell so I order the correct one? Finally, when I gas it up if I overflow, instead of the gas coming out the tube, it overflows out of the top of the tank under my jeep. Until I drop the tank I probable won't be able to tell, but it seems like at the very least I'm missing a gasket. You have to love the never ending list of things to fix. As I'm typing this I'm thinking "gosh that's a bit disturbing" it's a good thing winter is coming, taking the jeep out of commission for a bit won't be such a hardship.
