Fuel pump surges with blinkers?

So all my wiring is back in and everything is working but my fuel pump surges with the blinkers? I have no clue??? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

You might want to connect a voltmeter to the fuel pump, go for a drive and use the blinkers for a more accurate idea of whats going on. Like to start with, are you getting full battery voltage to the pump? As I recall, your CJ comes with the 10si GM alternator and might be on the weak side to handle the amp draw of an electric fuel pump.
