I want to know if I can use the handbrake of wrangler 1997 and put between the seats in the CJ7 ?

I too an curious on this. I'd think that you could do it with a little cutting and fabbing.

I think you could but why?.............that's a tight area there needed for lot's of other things..........
now if it was in fact a hydraulic Left / Right cutting brake and you were into extreme rock or hill climbing I would say Yes!

I once saw where a guy used a Volkswagen hand brake lever between the seats as a hill holder. It would not be needed with a front locker though.
