Headlight Switch

Hi guys I'm new to the forum, but as an FYI I also had the same problem here's how I solved it. I pushed down the release switch to push in the bolt as far as I could I then took a hammer and lightly tapped the top to get it in a little deeper, and whala, it now clicks 3 times. Hope this helps.

Had a similar situation with mine recently. The rod wouldn't lock, so I turned it, the shaft is triangular, and it snapped right in as is it would work on only one flat.
