Help ID my CJ5

[Tuxedo Park 65]

I am new to this whole Mechanics thing. I am working on my grandfathers CJ5 Tuxedo Park Park Mark IV. I believe it is a 1965 but not exactly sure. I am working on the front brakes right now but need help identifying if I have 9 inch or 10 inch drums and brakes. Looking at literature from Kaiser Willy I think they should be 9 inch but when I measure across the hubs I get closer to 10 inch.

Hey Tux,

Moved this to the drivetrain section, you should get more attention here.

I would assume 10" since you're physically measuring it. There is a chance, I assume, that someone changed something at some point in it's life, and also chance that that one came with larger brakes from the factory as well.

If you question is "should" it have 9" - maybe?? But if you're just wanting to get the right parts, you've done right and measured - 10" it is.

Thanks for the confirmation much appreciated. And just for interest sake I couldn’t find a Rear Hub puller that would fit. A neighbour offered to make me one which turned out pretty amazing!!
