Engine Help identify ports on Rochester varajet 2 carburetor for 2.5L iron duke
Hey all, my 81' CJ5 only starts if I spray primer on the carb and I have to feather the gas for a while or else she dies. When I attempt to drive around it starts to sputter and backfire so I've been trying to learn about what could be wrong. Starting with replacing vacuum lines, many of them are worn or disconnected. I've tried to label alphabetically so someone could reference and hopefully tell me where it's supposed to go.
I confirmed the electric fuel pump is delivering fuel to "G" on the pictures, is this the correct port for the fuel? I ask this because I don't think it's getting enough fuel as when I pull on the accelerator when the jeep is off I read on here that you should see gas squirt in the bowl but nothing. If I pour a little gas in the carb and crank it she fires right away and then dies.
I also found the vapor canister in the engine bay completely disconnected so I just set it aside but I'm assuming one of the ports goes to that.
