How bad did I screw up?

Drained and cleaned front diff, cover, etc. put permatex rtv on housing then put the gasket and cover on and hand tightened screws. About 10 minutes later realized I forgot to put permatex on cover So I took cover back off and put sealer on and put cover back on. Will that create any problems?

I hope not, cover came off real easy with no sticky stuff on it and the goo that had oozed out was still tacky so it hadn't set up yet.
