ok,did a dumb thing while trouble shooting and left the key on .Now i get no fire.can someone tell me where the ignition fuse is located? I checked the coil in the run position and got no light on the red wire side of the coil...i'm thinking fuse.Is it in the fuse box? i'm not seeing it...but i'm old and my eyes are going hahaha thanks for the help!

On the computer equipped CJs, there is an ign/lps fuse that powers the fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, 4wd indicator, and computer. Leaving the ign key in the on position can damage or destroy the ignition control module, I assume the op lucked out here.

Wait a minute, leaving the key on can essentially toast all the electronics in a Jeep! Oh my god I'm doomed, how will I listen to the radio during lunch break ..... wait a minute .... I don't have a computer ..... wait just another minute, I don't have a radio either. for the time being I might be safe, that is until I get a radio .....

Yes I did !!! thanks anway!

Yep, you're lucky you didn't fry your ignition module. If your Jeep suddenly has problems with spark, check the module, and google "Stealth HEI" for a better solution than a chinese :dung: replacement module from napreillyzone.
