looking for a pto winch

Good choice ujoint! I wish you would have caught me 3 weeks ago! I shipped mine to montana. Good Luck in your search, I'll keep an eye out here, and let you know if anything comes up.

Just my opinion here, but a PTO winch, while it looks cool and pulls like a bull, isn't a very good recreational winch.
I had one on my '72 F-250 HiBoy, and it took 3 people to use it correctly. 1 to run the clutch and brakes from the cab, 1 to man the freespool lever and guide the cable onto the drum, and 1 sucker to run the line in and out and hook it up. Two people could do it in a pinch.
My electric winch takes 1 or maybe 2 people, and its much easier to use under controlled conditions, or when trying to use the vehicle to assist the winch in recovery (matching line speeds is a pain with a PTO).
Get what you want, just remember for ease of use, an electric winch is the best option.

I agree with you on electric winch being the better choice, The OP wanted to keep it as classic as possible, that's why I mensioned the PTO winch.

yea Im trying to keep it on the classic side. I will probably never use it I have a Rock Crawler YJ for my offroading fun with an Electric winch so I will agree with you that an electric winch is better all around but I am just looking to fill that space in between the grill and the bumper and the pto winch sounds just right
Thanks
