Just my opinion here, but a PTO winch, while it looks cool and pulls like a bull, isn't a very good recreational winch.
I had one on my '72 F-250 HiBoy, and it took 3 people to use it correctly. 1 to run the clutch and brakes from the cab, 1 to man the freespool lever and guide the cable onto the drum, and 1 sucker to run the line in and out and hook it up. Two people could do it in a pinch.
My electric winch takes 1 or maybe 2 people, and its much easier to use under controlled conditions, or when trying to use the vehicle to assist the winch in recovery (matching line speeds is a pain with a PTO).
Get what you want, just remember for ease of use, an electric winch is the best option.
