I've got a MC2100 that I can't narrow down the identification of to buy the correct rebuild kit. Specifically, getting the correct shaped bowl gasket ..

No ID tag on the carb, but it has 2 - OF - L clearly stamped at the base on the body.
The body has a Venturi casting of 1.23

Looking at a list id numbers there's 'C' 2 - OF 's but not with the L identifier at the end, and the only ones that do have the identifier L are 'C 3' OF-L 's

If pretty convinced this was swapped off something else, but can't determine what vehicle it may have originated from.

The "C2OF" on the base is the number you need to get the right rebuild kit. The venturi casting of 1.23 is the size of the venturis. Some rounded math puts the sizes at #1.08 as 450 cfm, #1.14 as 520 cfm, and #1.21 as 575. A #1.23 (which I've never seen on a jeep 6-cyl in person) would come out about 600 cfm. Too big for a stock 6-cyl, but OK for a larger V8 and/or other HP improvements.

Here's a link to the rebuild kit part # K4008: C2OF kit

Scroll down about a third of the page and you'll see the carb numbers listed that this kit fits. It shows all the "C2OF" numbers with various letter suffixes at the end. You can check the pics to confirm the bowl gaskets.

Not to take away from your comment but those cfm numbers look high (i seem to remember that 1.14 is 300 cfm). Out of the factory, 1.08 was run on AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l i6 and AMC 304 v8, 1.21 was run on 360 and 401 v8s. Pictures do look like a v8... I thought the motorcraft 2100 manual had a number decoder, and mikes carb parts site has some carb id help, have you looked there?

You are correct. My math was way off. Not sure where I added the extra digit from. Here's a size chart from CJOFFROAD.COM:

0.98 = 190 CFM
1.01 = 240 CFM
1.02 = 245 CFM
1.08 = 287 CFM
1.14 = 300 CFM
1.21 = 351 CFM
1.23 = 356 CFM
1.33 = 424 CFM
