Misc Need help identifying bracket

Because cold outside I move to basement shop and start cleaning up small stuff. I have this bracket and I cannot figure out where it goes. Thanks for looking. 1978 CJ7 AMC 304 3-speed

Yep, to me it looks like the bracket with the square hole to lock throttle cable.

Nope, I have this for a throttle cable bracket with 90 degree bend.. The bracket in question is 3/16" thick which I am assuming has a heavier duty application. I usually use Google image search which normally works really well but in this case nothing.

That bracket goes on the back of the power steering pump and is where just adjust the belt tension. The square hole goes facing up and is where you would use a ratchet to push and hold tension. The two round holes are for the bolts you tighten to lock it in place. The "knub" sits in the hole on the larger bracket and serves as the pivot point. Here's a pic of the rear of the pump and how/where your smaller bracket fits in place between the pump and the larger bracket, and another pic showing the placement from the front without the pump in the way. Wow. Thanks everyone! I already have the power steering mocked up on the engine and thought it was complete. Probably would not have worked well without it. I was even thinking this was left over from my 'vette restoration finished years ago. Now I can fall asleep without thinking about it. Thanks again.
