Need Help on 1985 CJ7 Dash Wiring

My son and I did a restore on an 85 CJ7 . He being 19 did not pay a lot of attention to how things came apart. In his haste he disconnected the dash and did not label anything. I got most of it back and lit up and turn signals, high beam, 4x4, Volts, Oil Pressure. What I need help with is reconnecting the fuel guage and the water temp guage. Any help woul dbe appreciated if you had either a diagram or a color code pin to pin or handwritten on a napkin! Any help is appreciated.

look at the top of this page for "usefull info to share" by Brookgrimes there is some wiring info in there for your gas and temp gauges.

red is key hot, the senders are ground, fuel is pink and temp is PPL/TR. BTW if you create an account at autozone .com you can access wiring diagrams for your vehicle, they are not always the most accurate but then neither are our diagrams from the companies that charge us a monthly fee.

Here is a PDF on CJ gauges that I cribbed off a forum thread. I have the same complaints from a CJ7 I bought a month ago, but brakes and steering come first.

I have some more stuff on this topic captured, if you need anything other than this one.
