Hello

PO removed the entire parking break. Does anyone of a picture of the 73 CJ5 parking break and any tips on how I purchase and install a new one?

Thx

The pedal bolts to the LH lower side by the drivers leg. Then a single cable that's Y's off to each rear wheel. Plus you've got the parts inside the rear drum.

Pretty expensive to buy all new parts.

I have a pedal assembly. PM me if interested :D

This would be a great time to install a hand operated brake mounted between the seats. This would enable you to use it as a "Hill holder" to apply the brake and use your feet for gas pedal and clutch operation. I have seen them used with great success, like when the engine stalls out on a steep hill.

Thank you however I have an automatic.
