Searched and found others but not T-5 pics. I need the T-5 /Dana 300 combo brace mounting holes and skid plate location. I put my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l back in and using a T-5 now and the mounting holes will be different. I bought two driveshafts that came with the T-5 setup but with setting the motor in first and then everything else It would be nice to have a diagram or pics of the support/skid plate holes used.

thanks:D

The Advance Adapters catalog has the bolt hole locations and might be online also. As for what holes on the skidplate to use, I would suggest using whatever lines up.

a photo may help but these holes have to match up with the threaded holes in the frame. You need to measure and line up those holes with the holes in the skid plate. The skid plates have lots of holes for different drive train components. Have you tried lining up the skid plate to see if any holes match up?

There are four threaded holes on each side of the frame for the skid plate, so you have two positions to mount it.

Thanks for the photos Glenn, do you know if you used the first or second row of holes on the bottom of the tranny? I can figure it out with the pics by installing the tranny and bolting up the skid plate and then seeing which set of holes line up in the middle. Just a little more work as I am doing this solo.

thanks again.

I did not flip Transmission over this morning to see if I could tell which holes to use. But I did take a look at one on the net. It looks to use the mount holes closer to the output shaft. As far as holes in frame, I never noticed there was 4 on each frame rail, but I can look this afternoon.

I don't have a pic but I looked at my '84 with a T-5 and the skid plate has three bolts on each side holding it to the frame using the furthest holes to the back.

Also just looked at my frame and it uses the last three of the four bolt holes on the frame rail. And I did flip over Transmission and verified that it does also use the bolt holes closest to output shaft.
