Im looking for something that will work with the existing mounts and T-14 tranny. Im trying to keep the project at or under 2500, but can go as high as 5000 if absolutely necessary.
Currently have the 225 v6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The only thing that will fit the current mounts would be Buick V-6's from that era both Odd and even fired motors......Only a few rare AMC crate motor's from the 1970's era still exist...........As mentioned if the crank is still good re-build what you have......$2500 should do the job.
