Engine New to Jeeps, 1962 CJ5

Howdy all, new to Jeeps, just bought a 62 CJ5 , no engine, has (from my initial research) a T-18 and Dana 20 ..? Has the parking brake on the back of the Transfer Case , haven't checked gearing in axles yet. Yes, I am a "Pickupman" I have a bunch of old Ford trucks, 1963 F250 4x, 1966 F100 and F250, 1977 F150 4x, 1977 F250 4x and a 1978 Bronco. So not new to wrenching or wheeling, just new to the Jeeps, had a 1963 CJ5 for a shirt while about 15+ yrs ago, was all original and kick myself for selling it.
Which brings me here now! Found a 1962 CJ5 , originally had the 4 cyl,, has the T-18 and Dana 20 from my digging around, not sure on the axle gearing, and since I'm a Ford guy, I happen to have a 302 V8, and a 300 inline 6, with BH's taking up space in my shop so I figured the 302 would be a good choice due to the length of the 300.
Not planning on hard core wheeling, mainly puttering around the fire roads and trails around here with a buddy that has a 76 CJ5 , will probably do a Shut-eye run or 3 and maybe a few technical trails but no major crawling. Here's pics from when I got him home and then parked in the shop for now.
I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as I go!
