I replaced the fuel pump in my CJ about 2 months ago and it was running great. I thought my problem starting in cold weather may have been just because of the cold but upon further review it looks like it is due to not enough fuel getting to the carburetor. I went through the following troubleshooting steps:
Disconnected the fuel line from the carb. On the first crank, one sputter of fuel, then nothing. Disconnected it from right before the fuel filter, no fuel ever came out. So it looks like fuel is not being pumped. Before I replace the fuel pump AGAIN I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything farther down the line in the system that might be suspect. Is there a good way to test the lines to make sure they're not clogged other than blowing through them using some aquarium tubing or something?
P.S. Yes, there is gas in the tank
