I didn't move the hot side junction block but I moved the wire to better position and tightened the battery down better. I believe the batter made it's way to the left a little just enough to pull the hot cable front the front of battery to that bolt. I added a ground from the ground block that is on the left of the pic to the firewall. It appears the ground from the battery to the motor block went bad when the short occured so I replaced that also. Bought a new ecm at autozone already programmed, I just put my chips in from the old one, Jeeps seems to run stronger and more reactive now.
Well, had more issues. Jeep was running really rich, black soot out back and cel was on. I drove it for one tank of gas couldn't help myself. I ran out of gas because of the terrible gas mileage I was getting running so rich. I could.t get it started. Anyway after changing really fouled plugs and rotor and cap it was still running bad. I pulled the ecm just for the hell of it and a prong on the prom was bent back not making contact. got all that fixed. But now I'm getting a high idle around 1000 1200 rpms, 400 500 is normal at idle. And I can hear it running faster and when driving sometimes it hesitates and the rpms will fluctuates sometimes. I was thinking TPS, so I did multimeter tests and has 12 volts going in, but very low volts coming out. The volts do sweep good up and down and when tapping with screw driver the volts don't jump. But the volts are very low. doesn't even hit one volt on top sweep, should be at around 5 volts. Oh and the cel has a code of 22 which is low voltage TPS. Does this sound like the TPS since has good voltage going in but not coming out. Or could something else cause this? Figure I ask before throwing a new TPS. Thanks.
