Overdrive pops out of gear

I have a new Overdrive got it from Herm the overdive guy. It keeps popping out out of direct drive and I have shimmed it twice any advice would be great thanks.

He will straiten it out, he is a hell of a guy and stands firmly behind his product. Was it a used unit? or new?, I have talked to him about my unit in the 70 and he says to send it in and he will do something that cures the problem. until then I have a bungee chord on the dash to hold it, it requires so little pressure it is really ridiculous it pops out

My Scout Dana 300 pops out of gear. So I too use a bungie cord.
I did add rubber hose over the shifters to keep vibs down. Did that on my
T-18 shifter too.

I don't know about the Jeep Dana 300 but the Scout Dana 300 had a bolt
hole I used to add a grease fitting for the bolt to hold the twin sticks.
Now I can grease the bolt.

glad you can see that. We are dealing with 50yrs old designs and sometimes have to admit we push then to their limit

Baja I sent my Overdrive back to Herm and he did his magic no more popping out of gear. Thanks
