Really hard to tell from the photos. I would start with cleaning everything up and then let it sit a day. Look for leaks then. If none, drive it a small amount, recheck, ans let it sit again if necessary.

There are really only a few possibilities, Transmission leak, seal from Transfer Case to Transmission , case seal, case to reductionbgear seal, and yoke seals. I would recomend using RTV along with the supplied gaskets next time.

Did you just install the part time kit or has the leak started after that? Also mine has a vent on top of the fork inspection plate. Might check there. The pictures look like it is blowing out of the skid plate to me. Rod

My 83's valve cover gasket was leaking so bad it would do literally the same thing. The skid acted like a reservoir until I hit the right speeds and you get what you have..a mess out back. Where your leak is coming from? Do you still have the vent line hooked up and run to high ground? Damaged a front DS seal during the install perhaps?

Part time kit has been in for some time. I think I may have gotten to the bottom of it. Cleaned the underside by running a sprinkler underneath, dried, and then drove. Found the same mess on the rear end again.

This time noted that there was some fluid around the plate which holds in the vacuum diaphram. I think that the fluid may have leaked out of the vent on top of that cover, and then hit the rear end after blowing out the skid plate.

Found the fluid level to be about half a quart too high. Drained and drove, no leak. I am really hoping that I just overfilled, and that its not passing into the Transfer Case from the Transmission , although I just changed those seals and was very careful to install them correctly and gently.

Any thoughts on this?
