Quadratrac Part Time identification question

I have a 1978 CJ7 with AMC 304 and the GM Turbo 400 /QuadraTrac combo. I have posted before regarding changing the Transfer Case and have decided to keep it.
I performed an inspection of the belt and it needed to be replaced. Opened case and found the belt to be very loose. My question is this:

The Jeep performs like a conventional part time 4x4 with the "emergency drive" seemingly engaging the front wheels. P.O. told me that a part time kit was installed, and the vehicle has locking front hubs.

Question #1. Can anyone look at the photo and confirm that a part time kit is in place? If not, what should I look for?

Question #2: Tested vacuum actuator and with a vacuum pump. First pump it snapped forward as if engaging 4x4. Second try it held vacuum on the disengage side, but not on the engage side, and the rod doesn't move. Did I destroy the actuator?

Thank you for the link. I'm thinking that it does have a conversion since there is no obvious indication that the lower gear opens up to a differential and clutch pack. But still looking for confirmation.

I can see the original diff assembly has been swapped out for the MM, their a different design from the factory diff.

To clarify:
In the original QT differential the differential sprocket has 8 screws on each
side:


In yours, there are no screws as it is correct for the MM kit:

Great replies from everyone. Now in the process in putting back together. Ordered the alloy USA 11651 replacement chain after reading the reviews on Chinese made chains.
Received it and found that the box is OMIX ADA made in China.
Anyone have any experience in these chains? It says it has a 5 year "Limited warranty".

Another question: I found a bit of sludge in the case and have sprayed the gears and bearings with brake cleaner (no residue kind). Should I place any grease on/in the bearings before reassembly, or should I just lube with ATF, or neither?

Not sure how the grease would mix with the ATF, I'm thinking it would make chunks and a problem.

I do not have experience with China chains, I fortunately have some
Morse still...
Do not use any ATF ot other, get the QuadraTrac fluid for it:
Quadra-Trac Transfer Case Fluid, 1973-1979, Specifically made for AMC Quadra-Trac
Use this also to lube the bearings.

What I would recommend is to get this:

Here you can find anything on the QT system...

Check for leaks when you have assembled it, old seals sometimes do not
like break cleaner...

Do you have a pure part time unit or also with Overdrive ?

Thank you for your answer. It was my belief that I could use ATF since the unit was converted to part time since it doesn't need the anti slip additive of the QuadraTrac flud. Is this not the case?

And thanks for the link too. I'll order one. I do have a hard copy service manual but it doesn't have some of the info I am looking for.

Sorry, my mistake, for the part time conversion, ATF is fine, somehow I have overseen this...
