Quick Engine Removal

Remove the entire front clip.

if nothing else, remove the grill (radiator etc) and fold the hood back so its a straight shot in and out.
 
I have always removed the grill and if you have a brace under the motor that goes from frame rail to frame rail by the motor mounts remove it the oil pan likes to get hung up on it.
 
use an engine hoist they can get heavy...lol no seriously removing the front clip is the best and im not sure if you are trying to remove the trany and Transfer Case or not but if you are remove them first it is way easier than trying to pull them as a single unit
