Re-Assembly Transmission to Transfer Case

Ok Transmission is back together. Any tips or tricks to re-attach T-150 Transmission to Dana 20 Transfer Case ? Having trouble with sliding completely in. Hesitant to apply to much force. FYI, both are currently on the bench

If this is on the bench-it shouldn't be that hard.
If the tranny is in the jeep, T'case install can be a bit of a PITA because it's had to see that they are lined up.

make sure both are in gear and try turning the Transfer Case output while inserting it onto the Transmission . the gears may not be lining up.

Both are on the bench. It was not easy to separate and equally difficult to re-attach. I engage both into gear still no luck. I will keep working it, just checking to see if there is a trick to it. Thanks
