Removing rear output shaft

So are there any tricks to removing the nut on the rear output shaft? Just don't want to break anything.
Sprayed it down last night with penetrating lube. Picked up the 1 1/8" socket. Breaker bar and 3' cheater barn and it is not budging. I can try to heat it up a bit but that is always my last choice.
Can I hurt anything?
