Roll bar cover

Quick question. I know a yj roll cover will fit my cj but do they look funny? I have never seen one and I didnt know how the cut outs for the front bar made it look. thanks for any help!

Nick, I don't thik a YJ cover will fit on a CJ cage. The YJ had a family cage, which looped over the rear seat, and foward bars that bolted to the windshield frame, The CJ bars only looped over the front seats and had two stabilizer bars that went to the floor. I actually don't know a damn thing about a YJ, so I can't offer this as fact.

I think coldwater's right. The YJ rollbar and the CJ rollbars are too different. I just don't remember exactly what year "family" rollbar introduced. I know that bestop offers rollbar covers for '80-'86 CJs. The rollbars from '76-'80 literally only bolted on to the wheelwell. In 1980 AMC extended the rollbar all the way to the floor in front of the wheel well.

Here is a picture of my CJ sitting next to JSWatson's CJ in the parking lot at work, I have rollbar pads, he doesn't. He also has the bigger rollbar. You can see that mine literally just sits on top of the wheelwell. And that his connects to the floor behind the seats.

Ok any advice where to buy one? Im thinking tan instead of black then cover my seats tan? more contrast i think would look good... I dont want everything black i dont think..

I believe the YJ went to the family cage in '91 or '92. I used to own a '92 and it had the Family cage.

I think the early YJ covers fit CJs. Aren't the pads on the bars that go to the windshield separate? I think so.
