I recently purchased a 1984 Jeep CJ7 . The heater hoses have been spliced so that the ouput from the water pump is routed directly back to the rear of the manifold. I am trying to reroute the hoses to their original connections.
There are 2 hose nipples on the firewall just under the battery. I believe these are the connections to the heater core. I now have the water pump hose going to the top nipple. The bottom nipple now has a hose that goes to the rear of the manifold.
There appears to be another outlet on the passenger side. There is currently no hose on this nipple and it is leaking antifreeze when the radiator is full. What size should this hose be and where should an attached hose be routed?
Thanks in advance for any help.
