Build Thread Starting from the frame 1977 CJ5

CJ I tend to do that a lot jump around from project to project. I was waiting for the rest of my brake parts to come in. So I started cleaning more of the frame up to get it ready for painting when I discovered the hole. Now my brake parts are in so I'm going to get back on task with them then move to the hole repair.

I'm confused. I am looking at the front leaf spring mounting plate on my Jeep. It has one shock mounting stud on it and all the new ones I looked at have two studs on them. I have to replace the drivers side mounting plate as the shock mounting stud is bent. But I don't want to have 1 side with two studs and one side with 1. Now the plates I took off the rear are in good shape just need cleaned up and painted could I use them on the front?
Late to the party - when I removed my front axle, I had a sway bar link attached to one stud and the shock to other.
