stumbling on the road. carter bbd

when im driving the engine has a bad stumble cant quiet figure out why. i checked the carb today it has been rebuilt but iv had a bad problem with it not idling. so i found a link to solve that and it appears my idle tubes are clogged so i will be fixing that but would that also cause the engine to stumble and sometimes cut out while driving or what might that be. thanx all in advance. the carb is a carter

Sounds like it, but you really won't know til it's done. Hopefully the link you found is the one that includes drilling them out. That pretty much solves the problem.
