Just got my 79 CJ5 yesterday. (my first Jeep) I'm having trouble with the Transfer Case linkage, it seems to be binding up. (it dosen't move anything at all) I spent some time searching here and think I have a Dana 20 because of the tube-type shift lever support. The case is stock to the Jeep but was recently rebuilt by the previous owner. It looks like he put the linkage back in with a batch of hardware that was left laying around in his driveway. Everything is kinda loose and miss matched. I pulled the cover off of the floor and tightened up what I could. I found a linkage breakdown in my Haynes manual but can't really understand how all the parts work together. The linkage is suppose to move two rods in and out of the t-case. Do these rods move together or opposite of each other? Is there a hardware kit avaliable to rebuild this linkage or a new linkage kit I can get? Does someone have a few good pictures or a diagram of how the linkage should look when installed properly? I think, after a search here, that the shift pattern matches this picture of this sticker. Where do I find one of these stickers? Being new to this, I'm thankfull that I found you guys here to help me out.

Rods generally move individually or together(4WDHi)

Can't get the photo show up. Just Google "Dana 20 shifter linkage" under images

The stickers are here
