I had a '69 T-14 rebuilt by someone/shop locally known as one of the best. I removed the factory T-14 out of my '70 CJ & installed the rebuilt T-14 . The rebuild is noisier than than the factory T-14 with 50,000 miles on it. I approached the rebuilder and he said some trannys are noisier than others. He absolutely guaranties the tranny to be correct. No other problems other than noise. Has anyone else heard or know this about the noise compared between trannys to be true? Thanks!
