I removed my T-15 3 speed and am replacing with a TH350. I have a B&M tranny cooler that I am going to install. Is the B&M cooler enough on its own or should it be routed through the radiator. If it should be through the radiator, I have 2 (1/4"??) plugs in the bottom of my radiator which look pretty small. Are these the right location to attach it to?

Thanks for any advice.

I had the same issue with the fittings in my new rad being the wrong size, so I bypassed the rad. I have a fairly large cooler though, bought the biggest one they had.. you should be fine though.

I would suggest a tranny temp gauge to tell you what you need, if I recally correctly 250 degrees is about max for an auto.

I agree run you B&M cooler alone with a gauge and see what happens.
It can run to cool also I believe a 350 wants to run 160 to 210. mine runs around 200 on the trails with the rad. cooler only.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'll give it a go with cooler only and gauge as you suggest.

Well, I finally got the conversion done and took it for a spin. The B&M cooler by itself is working just fine. I haven't really got into it on any hills yet, but running around town it operated perfectly.
