Hard uppers with the sliding windows. Guy about two hours from here listed em on C’list for AMC 150 bucks for the pair. Just so happens a good friend of mine lives within 15 minutes. He picked em up for me and said that a good wash would make me look like new. Didn’t think they’d ever been used much, if any.

Cool. I drove about an hour away for some soft uppers slightly used last year

I have a set of side uppers for the soft top, and a set of soft upper frames I was going to modify for the Hart too. Don’t need those now either

Man, I can't type for :dung:. I have a set of soft uppers for the soft top, and a spare set of upper frames I was going to modify to fit the hard top.....

I'M NOT READY TO GO TO WORK!!!!!

Finally got a brake pedal yesterday..... not the best, but functional. I think it’s the front right corner giving me problems...... anyway, after a full day of yard work, I went to the garage for some destressing. Have decided to just not even look at the hood till I’m ready to repaint, but I think one day this week I’ll take it off and start filling in the chip......

So last night I decided to mount the rear footman loops for the bikini top. This tub came with ginormous loops back there that looked awful. Those holes were welded shut. In researching the proper location, I realized there are several common locations, so I decided to stick em on the rear roll bar pad.

Now it needs a little sun to stretch out a bit

And boy, they didn’t allow much extra strapping....

But the box blends in nicely

Very cool, they sure didn’t give you any wiggle room on those straps lol

You know if you mount one of those pink flamingos on your hood as an hood ornament to you won’t have to worry about that scratch lol

I think I have the same length straps on my bikini top, but since I would never reach the footman loops on my 8’s tub, I wrap them around the roll bar and end up with extra strap to deal with.

Thinking more about it, I don’t think my straps would even be as long as yours.

Can't remember what it is called, but I have one that has 3 straps that is shorter and only reaches the roll bar and actually clips to the roll bar on each side then the middle strap comes back under the roll bar and attaches to the windshield footman loop to keep it tight. I like the regular bikini top because it is a little longer for shade when the sun is behind me

I have the 3 strap one you are talking about.

The one I had on my 5 went to the footman loops on the back lip of the tub.

As short as these straps are, the box lists a CJ8 as fitting..... good luck with that.

I’ll be using a hard top in the winter... they would have to move...... but the original Whitco top instructions recommended the top of the lip right on the corner

And I finally got off my butt and got the washer nozzles back in place
