Before you start over, see if the admin will change the title - "The slower than CJ5 to CJ7 conversion". If you salvage the 5's windshield frame, and drive line, and rebuild it with 7 parts, sounds like the same thread to me :grinjeep:

Already started new thread. Got people over there. Different build. CJ7 frame, 7 tub, 7 VIN... Kill this.
