Thermostat question.

What temp thermostat are you guys running? I see a 160degree, a 180 degree and a 195 degree available.

I'm running a 160 thermostat, but my rig runs hot. It often gets to the optimal 200-205 degrees

The later CJs use a 195 stat. Although I run a 180, years ago I tried a 160 and the heater would barely work.

- 84 CJ7 4 banger-owned since new in 1984 bought off truck at dealership - rebuilding 258, T176 with Sniper EFI D300 4:1 Lomax gears Twin Sticked 1 piece axels with locker
195 also. Tried lower once and the engine just didn't perform correctly

I run 195* and that's OEM.
