:( Jeep been sitting most of the winter.Backed it out of the garage today and seen oil on right front tire.Closer look it was the axle seal.
What is the best way to change this seal out?
 
You have to take the axles out and you also need to take the ring gear/carrier out. The seal is in the center section next to the carrier bearings.
 
I was affraid of that.Looks like a two weekend job.One to get it apart and the next to get it together.
