Weird sensor

Whule rewiring my CJ7 I ran across a weird plug coming off my oil.pressure sender with two wires going nowhere. Anybody seen something like this before?

Do you have an electric fuel pump? If so it's usually used to sense pressure before it comes on.

It's for the auto choke on carb.
