what auto tran 80 cj7

I just got a CJ7 with a 350 chevy its got a advance adp. to the stock tranny I guess what Transmission cane in 80 CJ7 . Thanks Greg

Probably a TF999 . Did you look at our Transmission data base?

You sure it's not a chevy Transmission . that's adapted to the t/c. Thats what most people do.

the adp is bolted to the block and trann. not between trann and tranfercase I was hoping is was a tb350. what do I look for on TF 904 .

904 was behind the 4 cyl and the 999 was behind the I6. What was the original engine?

AMC 304

The Tf 999 was stock behind the AMC 304 in 1980. The only other automatic Transmission used behind the AMC 304 was the GM Turbo 400 with the QuadraTrac full time 4wd up until 1979. A pic or 2 would clear this right up for you.
