Replaced my front bump stops with a set of YJ bump stops. The ones I had from Rancho are no longer made. I also had to redo my track bar bracket so the new bump stop would fit. They worked fine yesterday out on the trail.

Also moved my Pull Pal from my front bumper to the hood. Used a River Raider high lift jack mount. The only thing I don't like is you can't open the hood all the way to the windshield. Oh well. At lest it is out of the way.

Spent the last three days driving open pasture along the original Mormon Trail this last week. Sand, rolling prairie and moderate hills. Had a blast. no phone, no issues and beautiful scenery.

that sounds like fun. I would love to drop the top on mine and spend a few days driving the rolling prarie

Drove cj to work for the first time. Miss JK was jealous

Went for a little drive through some giant mushrooms.

Sat in a traffic jam

(They call it the Hummer Trap, hummers are to wide)

Then at the end of the day I put her up on a block to check for damage.

Finished removing fenders and grill in preparation to yank off the body... in preparation to replace the frame!

drove it to work yesterday with the side curtains and door tops off. Then the rains came, good thing work had an awning to park it under.
Got it home and found a loose tranny mount, tightened it. Then started clean up. Pulled the rear seat in prep for building a seat riser. I plan to add underseat storage. Then I swept out 30 years of dirt and grime and debris.

Used a sawszall to but two body mount bolts. It was difficult. Horrible. Took a long time. Luckily (?) most are rusted through. More tomorrow.

Lost a muffler hanger. Just left it.

developed a clunk in the rear driveline. Am thinking that new motor and tranny mounts revealed it. Old mounts were shot and hid bad universal joint.

Unfortunately I have got to do nothing to my CJ7 today.I am still on vacation but leavin for home in the am,yes. Then will hopefully be able to get the ole girl going by the weekend

Stare at it.

Yep, I did just the same. That, and daydream about what I'm going to do after I get back from my drive to Texas. I'll be making a 3,000 mile round trip tomorrow. Gotta get back home to see the family for a little while. I haven't seen them in several years.

drove it to work the other day, first time since the last trail ride.
Noticed it was wanting to dog walk a little.
Took it apart to find that the spring bolt had sheered it's head off in the spring perch.
I decided to go ahead and change the bushings while it was apart.
Took it for a ride and hit some pot holes, now to retorque the u-bolts.
